The Twitchell reunion was wonderful as usual and Ed and Joey did a great job. Mike and I took our trailer over and it was so nice to have a place to lay down, a place to shower and a place to wash kids hands and faces when they needed it.
Highlight of the reunion was the bottle rockets. They were two liter soda bottles decorated or not (Michelle and I really had fun with this) filled half with water and then pumped up with air until they flew. Boy did they fly, over trees, cars and to the street. Michelle made an awesome pirate, I did a Hulet hula girl, a pink "When pigs fly" and a grandkids bottle with all their names and figures on it. Kody made an great golf course, Ky a Laker's Kobe Bryant and Kamree an awesome cheerleader. I'm sure the neighbors were happy to see us leave. But the kids had a great (wet) time.
Marrit, Kirt, Kam and Kody and Mike and I went for an amazing ride and Kody loved getting stuck in the mud. We made good use of our winches, ours and Kirts pulling him through the bog holes. The scenary on that side of the mountain was so pretty and green, lots of streams and ponds.
The Twitchell shoot out as always was wonderful fun and Walker won first place with revolver (I think) way to go Walker! I am my usual poor shot but we had a great time.
The food was so good and I think Rachelle won the prize with her chicken salad and watermelon. It really hit the spot. Everyone had a good time, I could have stayed for a lot longer, I hope we can get together again soon. We always have such a fun time and I guess we rate very highly when compared to other reunions. Yah!
Joey fell the last day and cut her nose and had to have stiches. While they took her to the clinic, I got a chance to get to know Hunter and Lilly. What cute kids, I've just got to say that Mom and Dad Twitchell sure had good kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. I sure hope they are watching down on them. They would have been so proud. I guess that's a great place to stop. Love to all Mom
