Wedding!

What a beautiful wedding, what a beautiful bride. So fun. Crissy said after all of the formal stuff was over she was going to change her clothes and enjoy the party. She did and worked the crowd dancing with everyone. It was the most enjoyable wedding and reception I have been too. They are a cute couple and I think they are both pretty lucky to have found each other.

I can't write much tonight, it's late and my thoughts have been with Mona, Eric and Lee. I spent some time with Mona before they life flighted Carl to the U of U Hospital. Hopefully they will be able to help Carl in SLC. It made me think of Connie and Marsha. Love to all I will write more later.

SHOWER FOR Crissy

We went to Crissy's shower it was at Artful Edibles. The food was nummy and she got lots of presents. Lindy made the bride a hat from the ribbons and Jaymie is modeling. So cute.

Jaymie's dress is beautiful. I made her a hair piece with flowers and ribbons. She tried the whole thing on yesterday June 12th. She will be the belle of the ball.

Lindy and I went looking for a basket to throw rose petals before the bride when she comes down the aisle. We couldn't find a woven basket but found a silk basket in the brides aisle. Very cool. We are all excited for the upcoming week and wish Crissy and Walker a long and happy marriage. We all think Walker is great and his family are great people. Bed time for me. love to all.

Boomer

Brooklynn loves Boomer and he loves her too. I think it's because she is so gentle with him. She loves to hug him and gives him kisses. Yuck! dog kisses. The next door neighbor has a chicken that keeps escaping. I talked to her one day and she said they are planning on taking it to the mountain when it gets warmer. The chicken and Boomer are so funny. Boomer will chase it until the chicken charges him. Then he comes running back into the house. Boomer has been the funnest and funnyest dog. He races up and down the lawn and around and around the house.

Boomer is so spoiled, but Mike says it's a close race between me being the most spoiled and the dog. I can't argue there. It is June and I think we have finally had our last snow. But I might trade snow for this ugly ugley wind. It is miserable. Oh well, I'm grateful for any temperature above 50. Crissy's wedding is coming soon. June 18th. The Twitchell family reunion is the last of July so we have some fun things coming up. It's good to be the Grandma. Love to all.

Tea

Silly silly, I know but what fun! Gaye's sister Joan bought an elegant tea set, so we had to try it out. Aren't we spiffy in our best bonnets? We could have gone to the big wedding in England. I'm sure no one would have stopped us from entering the ceremony.

We had layered sandwiches, scones with cream (my contribution) cucumber sandwiches, apricot muffins and fruit, pickles and olives and of course tea. What fun it is to have good friends to visit and do things with. I am so blessed to have good friends. We are planning on going to one movie a month and then to each others houses once a month. Don't know what we'll do at my house but I know it will be fun just getting together. June 6, 2011
