SPLINTER

Mike and I took Kamree and Kody to Bunkerville with us to see their cousins and stay over night. Friday April 1st 2011, Scott and Lindy took Nathan to Las Vegas to the Nevada geography bee. Nate took first place in his school and we are so proud of him. We are equally proud of the rest of the grandkids. Kamree participated in her school spelling bee. I hear from Marrit and phone pix that Brooklynn climbs on the counter to eat "angel food cake" while her Mom is in the shower. Parker has a new fish he named "Crash Bash" in honor of our old playstation game, I guess. They are all growing up so fast. It was 90 degrees in Bunkerville so Kam and JJ suited up to jump on the trampoline with the sprinklers on. So fun......so warm.....so nice.... Nate and Kody rode the four wheelers to the river and got muddy and wet. The four of them slept out on the trampline Friday night. I don't know how much sleep they got. I heard them playing very very late and they were up very very early. We went to watch JJ's soccor game Sat. morning. They play three on three. It was so cute and fun. It's amazing how much they improve year to year. At Scott's they all played and played, then they all went to the river. It was fun to watch them have such a good time. Boomer and Jake played and played till they were both pooped out. So just before we left to come home they ran away from home. (The dogs not kids). Boomer is still recuperating today. Thanks Scott and Lindy for the good food and fun visit. There was snow on the ground this morning and daffodils were poking out. Splinter for sure. Mike, Paul and I hope Grandpa Hulet are going for a ride down south Wednesday. I don't think I am up for riding yet. I am feeling pretty good, I got a little tired in Bunkerville but am doing fine. Every day I'm better and better. I'm so happy to have the knee surgery behind me. So happy to be as healthy as I am after the surgeries. Life is good.
